The Shuswap Regional Network invites you to join them on September 3rd, 6pm, at Carlin Hall, Tappen. Sit down with local farmers, hunters, and gatherers for a sumptuous five course meal prepared with the freshest local ingredients by Conscientious Catering. Crannog Ales will be offering their fine ales along with a selection of hand-made fruit sodas.
This fundraiser is being organized by the SRFN in order to send as many food-security activists in our bioregion to the BC Food Systems Network Gathering this fall. Also, funds will be raised for local food-security groups to further their work. A silent auction filled with local artisan crafts and services will help us to raise the funds needed to strengthen our food shed.
Tickets are $40 each. This includes one drink ticket. Please pre-purchase tickets at the Lake Effect in Salmon Arm or by contacting Jen: foodaction@youthpartners.ca No tickets will be sold at the door.

The Shuswap Regional Network supports work within the bioregion that takes a holistic approach to feeding all its members and creates cross-cultural solidarity around our food sources both within and beyond the borders of Secwepmec Territory. We protect foodlands, both wild and agricultural, and create stronger links between primary producers and eaters to create healthy relationships between people, animals and land.
