The Shuswap Food Charter has come about through public consultation at food forums and discussion groups hosted by Shuswap Food Action. Various stakeholders have expressed their opinions and concerns about the future sustainability of our food system. This Charter provides a set of guidelines for the community to consider in planning processes. The aim of this document is to further food security within our community.
